AI image generation is increasingly becoming better and better, but its also becoming less about “wow” images and more about the outputs that you can actually use. The latest OpenAI Images 2.0 update feels like a definite shift in that direction, because it focuses on control: clearer text, tighter layout handling, stronger prompt adherence, and more usable, commercial-ready results. I tested it using a the following coffee-brand prompt: “ Create a polished 16:9 startup landing-page hero image for a fictional coffee brand called Harbour Brew. The scene should be a realistic morning café interior with warm natural light, visible flour dust, glass reflections, and natural textures. Include a laptop, notebook, takeaway cup, and phone arranged clearly in the scene, with the phone in the top-right and the notebook in the bottom-left. Add a clean product poster or UI-style overlay containing the exact text: ‘HARBOUR BREW’, ‘Order Ahead’, ‘Menu’, ‘Find Us’, and a short line in Japanese beneath the headline.
